WOHMANN, Gabriele
Gabriele Wohmann, born in Darmstadt in 1932, studied German literature and music in Frankfurt am Main and lives in Darmstadt. She is a prolific writer and has won many literary awards. In her writings, she deals wtih private and universal issues such as love, family, and childhood. While she takes on, with a gentle touch of sadness and humor, the problem of growing older in her 1993 novel, Bitte nicht sterben , her latest book is a collection of "women's stories," which is also the sub-title/genre identification of Die Schönste im ganzen Land [The Fairest of Them All].

Bitte nicht sterben (Please Don't Die ): Vol. 1, No. 1
Das Pilotenprojekt (The Pilot Project ) from Die Schönste im ganzen Land : Vol. 3, No. 1
