Dimension2: Contemporary German-Language Literature
SUPINO, Franco
Franco Supino was born in 1965 in Switzerland as the son of Italian immigrants. He writes in German, and Ciao amore, ciao is his fourth novel. In this novel, he presents his version of real-life events to, as his translator Donal McLaughlin summarizes the author's intent, "reflect [...] the failure of the entertainment industry in the late 1960s to respond to the pressing issues of the period."
