Dimension2: Contemporary German-Language Literature

STEINER, Jörg
Jörg Steiner was born in Biel, where he again lives today, in 1930. After teaching, he turned to literature and even founded his own publishing house, which he directed from 1955 to 1960. His work has increasingly incorporated political aspectes and encompasses poetry, for example, Als es noch Grenzen gab (When there still Were Borders; 1976) and prose, for example, Auf dem Bere Sinai sitzt der Schneider Kikiriki (On Mount Sinai Sits Tailor Cock-a-Doodle-Doo; 1969).

Der Kollege (The Colleague) from Der Kollege (Frankfurt am Main: Suhrkamp Verlag, 1996) : Vol. 5, No. 2
