- Ruth Schweikert was born
in Lörrach, Germany; grew up in Aarau, Switzerland; and now lives
in Zurich with her husband and five sons. She writes prose, plays,
film scripts, as well as reviews and essays on literature and art.
Her novels include Augen zu (1998) and Ohio (2005);
her 1994 collection of stories, Erdnüsse. Totschlagen,
was republished as volume 5 of the Swiss Library ("Schweizer
Bibliothek") in 2006.
