- KÖNIG, Christoph
- Christoph König, born in 1956, is director of the Arbeitsstelle für die Erforschung der Geschichte der Germanistik [Research Project on the History of German Studies] at the German Literary Archives in Marbach. He studied philosophy, German and American literature, and psychology in Innsbruck, Austria. He was a visiting professor at the MSH (Paris) in 1992 and 1993, and he has published on literary theory, regionalism, scholarly approaches to unpublished works of dead authors, the history of literary scholarship, Hofmannsthal, and contemporary authors.
