Dimension2: Contemporary German-Language Literature

FREY, Erich
Erich Frey is Professor Emeritus of German at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, where he has taught since. 1960. His intersts include late nineteenth and twentieth-century German literature in general; however, he particularly specializes in German exile literature, Thomas Mann, and postwar West and East German literature. Not only has he had the chance to research at the the facilities in Marbach, he also supervised the M.A. thesis on Robert Musil by Louise Stoehr, whom he sent to the German Literary Archives in Marbach to do research.
