- BENYOËTZ, Elazar
- Elazar Benyoëtz,
born in Vienna in 1937, has lived in Jerusalem since 1939. His aphorisms
and poems derive their special quality from the fact that he creates
language anew during the writing process, which takes place in a country
whose language is not German. His many publications include Brüderlichkeit
(1994). In 1988 he was awarded the Adelbert-von-Chamisso Prize.
