Dimension2: Contemporary German-Language Literature

STAUFFER, Michael
Michael Stauffer was born in Winterthur in 1972, grew up in Frauenfeld, and attended university in Bern and Lausanne. After he completed his studies in German, French, and Fine Arts, he taught for a while at a vocational school. Since 1999 he has been a freelance artist creating "Stuafferwork," that is, the body of work consisting of his prose, radio plays, poetry, theater plays, and performances. His recent publications include the book Normal — Vereinigung für normales Glück (Basel: Urs Engeler Editor, 2006) and the radio plays Das Jesus-Syndikat (WDR, 2006) and Der Bancomat (DRS II, 2006).
