- HEIN, Manfred Peter
- Manfred Peter Hein, born
in East Prussia in 1931, has lived in Finland since 1958. Although
he has stayed away from the "literary scene" as a maverick,
he has been increasingly recognized for his achievements for promoting
Finnish literature abroad, as well as for his own lyrical work, which
is characterized by a terse language and a melancholy tone.
