- BOEHNING, Larissa
- Larissa Boehning was born in Wiesbaden in 1971 and grew up just outside of Hamburg. At university, she majored in Cultural Studies, philosophy, and art history. She has travelled in the United States and Asia. She now lives in Berlin as a freelance graphic designer and writer. The collection Schwalbensommer [Summer of Swllows] is her literary debut. The protagonists of her stories have been called members of the German "Golf Generation" (that is, "Golf" as in the car), whose main characteristic is that they are searching—for meaningful relationships, for love, for themselves.
