Dimension2: Contemporary German-Language Literature

BÄRFUSS, Lukas
Lukas Bärfuss was born in 1971 in Thun (Berner Oberland) and now lives with his family in Zurich. He writes theater plays and prose. His most recent works include Die sexuellen Neurosen unserer Eltern, Der Bus (Das Zeug einer Heiligen), and Die toten Männer. His plays have been translated into fifteen languages and have won him much recognition, including the Mülheim Prize for Playwrights ("Mühlhimer Dramatikerpreis") and Playwright of the Year 2005 ("Dramatiker des Jahres 2005").
